Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the oath commissioner shall apply to the Government of Karnataka in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Government of Karnataka shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
