Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the record officer shall apply to the Lokayukta in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the Lokayukta shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
