Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Copyright Board in the custody of the Assistant Registrar of Trade Marks, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Copyright Board; and where the Assistant Registrar of Trade Marks having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 27 within forty-five days of the succession.
