Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the licensee of a patent shall apply to the Plant Varieties Authority in Form 3 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty thousand rupees, and the Plant Varieties Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
