Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Registrar of Geographical Indications in the custody of the Assistant Controller of Patents, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Registrar of Geographical Indications; and where the Assistant Controller of Patents having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form TM-A within one hundred and twenty days of the succession.
