Application for registration.—Every registered elector carrying on the exercise of the franchise shall make an application for registration to the State Election Commission in Form 26, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees and a statement of every ballot paper held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ten days from that date.
