Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of a mining lease shall apply to the State Government in Form J for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the State Government shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
