Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the occupant of public premises shall apply to the Land Acquisition Officer in Form 5 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Land Acquisition Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
