Surrender of certificate.—Every permit holder who ceases to carry on the use of a transport vehicle shall, within fourteen days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the State Transport Appellate Tribunal in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 30 of the manner in which every register of vehicles held by him has been disposed of.
