Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any person presenting a document for registration dies, his legal representative shall, within thirty days of the death, intimate the death to the Land Acquisition Officer in Form 7, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every possession certificate then held; and the Land Acquisition Officer shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
