Bye-law 7, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Registration of The business of reinsurance) Bye-laws, 2015 [S6Z-N24]
As at 7 September 2026. In force from 11 January 2015.
Validity and renewal of certificate.—A certificate of registration shall be valid for a period of three years from the date of its issue and may be renewed for a like period on an application made in Form IRDA-5 not less than one hundred and twenty days before its expiry, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees; and the Insurance Information Bureau shall record the renewal on the certificate and return it to the reinsurer within one hundred and twenty days of the renewal.
