Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a building near a defence work shall apply to the Station Commander in Form F for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Station Commander shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
