Surrender of certificate.—Every riparian owner who ceases to carry on the drawing of water from a river shall, within twenty-one days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Canal Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form D of the manner in which every dispute held by him has been disposed of.
