Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these regulations shall be kept at the office of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board in the custody of the Energy Auditor, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board; and where the Energy Auditor having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form VIII within forty-five days of the succession.
