Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the property manager shall apply to the Adjudicating Officer in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Adjudicating Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
