Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a brick kiln in a village shall apply to the Block Development Officer in Form 1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees, and the Block Development Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
