Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Export Promotion Council in the custody of the Specified Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Export Promotion Council; and where the Specified Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form SEZ-2 within forty-five days of the succession.
