Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the applicant shall apply to the Registrar in Form 9 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of forty thousand rupees, and the Registrar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
