Application for registration.—Every applicant carrying on the filing of applications shall make an application for registration to the Registrar in Form 2, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of eight thousand rupees and a statement of every register of patents held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
