Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a rural water supply scheme shall apply to the Gram Panchayat in Form 4 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Gram Panchayat shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
