Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any operator of a rural water supply scheme dies, his legal representative shall, within fifteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Gram Panchayat in Form 5, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every building then held; and the Gram Panchayat shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
