Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any passport holder dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Government of West Bengal in Form X, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every arrival card then held; and the Government of West Bengal shall enter the intimation in the register within fourteen days of its receipt.
