Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the unit shall apply to the Authorised Officer in Form FC-4 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees, and the Authorised Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
