Surrender of certificate.—Every holder of land who ceases to carry on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Revenue Divisional Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 1 of the manner in which every parcel of land held by him has been disposed of.
