Surrender of certificate.—Every data processor who ceases to carry on the processing of personal data on behalf of a data fiduciary shall, within three days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form H of the manner in which every electronic record held by him has been disposed of.
