Application for registration.—Every data processor carrying on the processing of personal data on behalf of a data fiduciary shall make an application for registration to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team in Form D, within thirty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees and a statement of every security audit report held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
