Application for registration.—Every bank conducting Government business carrying on the conduct of Government business by a bank shall make an application for registration to the Controller General of Accounts in Form GFR 41, within one hundred and twenty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every account held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and twenty days from that date.
