Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the sand mining permit holder shall apply to the Chief Inspector of Mines in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees, and the Chief Inspector of Mines shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
