Application for registration.—Every registering officer carrying on the registration of instruments shall make an application for registration to the Inspector General of Registration in Form H, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees and a statement of every stock of stamps held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
