Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the moneylender shall apply to the Registrar of Moneylenders in Form F for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Moneylenders shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
