Application for registration.—Every registered user carrying on the use of a mark under registration shall make an application for registration to the Registrar of Geographical Indications in Form TM-A, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand six hundred rupees and a statement of every register of patents held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for thirty days from that date.
