Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the proprietor shall apply to the Registrar of Copyrights in Form TM-A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of forty thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Copyrights shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
