Application for registration.—Every seller carrying on the sale of food shall make an application for registration to the Registering Authority in Form C, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every food product held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
