Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the valuer appointed by the court shall apply to the Government of Madhya Pradesh in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees, and the Government of Madhya Pradesh shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
