Surrender of certificate.—Every bank conducting Government business who ceases to carry on the conduct of Government business by a bank shall, within sixty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Controller General of Accounts in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form GFR 41 of the manner in which every bill held by him has been disposed of.
