Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the food business operator shall apply to the Designated Officer in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Designated Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
