Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the charitable institution shall apply to the Principal Chief Commissioner in Form 26Q for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Principal Chief Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
