Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the person carrying on a trade within the municipal limits shall apply to the Town Planning Authority in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Town Planning Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
