Application for registration.—Every importer of pre-packaged commodities carrying on the import of pre-packaged commodities shall make an application for registration to the National Commission in Form E, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees and a statement of every advertisement held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for thirty days from that date.
