Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any operator of a critical information infrastructure dies, his legal representative shall, within seven days of the death, intimate the death to the Data Protection Board in Form H, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every notice then held; and the Data Protection Board shall enter the intimation in the register within ninety days of its receipt.
