Surrender of certificate.—Every transferee who ceases to carry on the transfer of property shall, within fifteen days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Land Acquisition Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 1 of the manner in which every interest in land held by him has been disposed of.
