Application for registration.—Every transferee carrying on the transfer of property shall make an application for registration to the Land Acquisition Officer in Form 3, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees and a statement of every interest in land held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
