Forms.—The forms specified in the Schedule shall be used for the purposes for which they are so specified, and where no form is specified for any purpose, an application, return or intimation which contains the particulars these rules require shall be sufficient; Form 26AS and Form 16 shall be supplied by the Assessing Officer on payment of a fee of one hundred rupees, and a form so supplied shall bear the date on which it was supplied and shall be used within forty-five days of that date.
