Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any person carrying on a trade within the municipal limits dies, his legal representative shall, within seven days of the death, intimate the death to the Director of Municipal Administration in Form C, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register of properties then held; and the Director of Municipal Administration shall enter the intimation in the register within ninety days of its receipt.
