Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the dealer in wild animal articles shall apply to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in Form VI for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
