Surrender of certificate.—Every teacher who ceases to carry on the teaching in a recognised school shall, within twenty-one days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Education Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form C of the manner in which every attendance register held by him has been disposed of.
