Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of posts of Under Excise Superintendent in the Excise Department, Government of Karnataka shall be 15, subject to variation dependent on workload; and the said post shall be classified as a Group 'A' post in the Service, Gazetted and Ministerial, carrying Level 11 in the pay matrix.
