Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the deponent before a commission shall apply to the Appellate Authority in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Appellate Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
