Safe custody.—Every owner of a lift irrigation scheme shall keep every water course to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the operation of a lift irrigation scheme is carried on, shall record in Form F the description of every water course so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the Government of Gujarat within twenty-one days of the close of each year.
