Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of land within a cantonment shall apply to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
